Last night I got everything finished up. The job of putting my springs and control arms back together. I used energy poly bushings on the upper and lower arms. I used eibach lowering springs as well. After I got everything together I noticed the drivers side take alot less force to push down the vehicle than the passenger side. Now a little backround, when I put the control arms on both uppers and lowers moved up and down okay. I did have the spring that is now in the drivers side in a spring compressor sitting on the garage floor for about a months. I would say it was compressed about a coil? Could the be the reason the other side is so much easier to push down? Just want to make sure I am not missing anything. Thanks in advance for any help. And a side not I dont have the sway bar or any steering parts hooked up yet. And the engine and trans is out of the car as I'm in the process of my LS swap.

One thing it sounds like you may have missed was torquing down the bolts with load on the suspension. The reason being is you want the bushings in a neutral position with the car in it's settled position, otherwise the bushings will twist and constantly be trying to fight the suspension, if that makes sense. The easiest way I know to do it on these cars I would jack up under the control arms, set them in the same height as each other with jack stands and try tightening them then. Hope this helps.

I have not torqued the bolts down yet. I was waiting to get my engine and transmission set in before I did that so I could get a load on the suspension so that I would not bind the bushing. I also made sure that springs were setting the pockets correctly and they are. Any Other thoughts? Or should it even be a worry until everything settles?

In that case I wouldn't worry until everythings in, it could be one side is grabbing more than the other, once you get everything tightened and settled in it may be a much different story

Okay will do. I didnt think it was much to worry about, but I just wanted to double check myself. The ride height is the same on both sides as well measured from the frame. Thanks for the help.

you probably don't have the battery in and the driver's side has the steering box and column plus the brake booster and master and the pedal assembly so the driver's side front has the most weight which would make it easier to compress the spring

I never thought of the extra weight on the drivers side. No steering box, but everything else is on. The Front clip is also off of the vehicle.
