Need some paint color opinions

I need some help deciding on a color for my LeMans. I'm hoping to get it in to get painted this fall or winter. I'm looking to stay blue like it is, but maybe a bit darker with more metal flake in it. I've also got another hair brained idea that some have told me would look stupid and some have said would look good. I'm trying to decide if I should keep the main body blue, and the roof area a slightly off white. It would sort of give the impression of a white vinyl roof. I was thinking of the roof, A and C pillars white with some sort of a dividing pin stripe on the C pillars to separate the white and blue. At the rear, the bottom of the window trim would separate the colors and since the A pillars go in behind the fenders that would be a natural separation. What do you guys think? Am I crazy? How much extra does 2 tone cost? If you have pictures of your car with something similar I'd love to see them. I'd also love to see some examples of blue shades to help me decide exactly what I want.

Visited the body shop the other day and the guy there said it wouldn't cost too much more for two tone if I decided to go that way. I think I'm going to drive around to all of the new car dealers around to see if I can find the shade of blue I want. And I'll scour the web for 2 tone pics...

good luck... I drove around for 2 years with a muti colored car trying to decide on a color, every time a saw a nicer color than the last one I changed my mind.. :lol:

There are some nice dark blues out there and in my opinion I would stick with one color, I'm going to side with the ones that say it would look stupid with the white top.
A lot of people on here take their vinyl top off so they can have a hardtop and would be jealous of what you have to work with, so it seems like it would look odd with white top that is not a vinyl.
Again, just my thoughts it is your car.

if your looking a color similar to yours take a look at the 69 chevy dusk blue. It's the color of my car cept I have a matte clear...

I believe you might have hit the nail on the head Steve! I like that colour! The matte clear makes a big difference, that looks a lot different than your car.

it is a nice color, there is just a hint of metallic in it
