Needs some motor opinions

The rods are 6" h beams ,stroked 305 interesting how's thar run?

Not as good as it should. The short rods make it angry and I was built literally with a cut down 400 crank back before long rod motors were even thought of. So early 90s. It has the pink rods and the factory heads. It's really a time capsule of what a stroker motor was back when it first became a possible build. Took 6 months to get the crank from PAW. I threw good parts at it (for the time). And ran it under the factory CCC carb on the computer. The goal was a low 14 to mid 13 sec street car. Back then that was considered a decent street car. So by modern standards it's a pig. But it was fun when I was 19- 20. I always wanted to put a TPI on it and spray it. Then maybe a Paxton or Vortec. Of course now those are considered nostalgia pieces.
I've driven it periodically as a grown up till the studs started to pull out of the head and it started to get rusty. It's on a stand right now and the car is on a rotisserie at the body shop. I have a 91 Z28 TPI for it and im trying to decide if I want to modernize the build with some long rods, a 1 piece crank conversion and Internally balanced with some decent heads. I go back and forth on the 700. I have become a car snob in my old age and only want stick cars but it seems to be a betrayal of the car to swap it. I logged a lot of miles and did a lot of stupid sh*t in that car as an auto. Doesn't seem like it will be the same car. Meh we will see.

I got everything x2 to put a small block in besides heads
If that's the case, I'll be down to dispose of that "junk" 427 for no charge. Just leave it out front of your house for me. Don't forget to put a chair at the curb so I'll have a spot to park.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Crank is bent pistons I was maybe have checked cause one has a nick in it from hitting the head and I'm gonna have the rods freshened up ,just sold 2 454 blocks yesterday to get cash together ,it's been a messed up month

If you are going to use the head for anything I would get it magnafluxed first since I have seen heads get hairline cracks from a piston hitting it.
