New Carb for a 307

Ok I have an older Carb on my Olds 307, it is an edelbrock but it is a very dated one and they don't even make a repair kit for it anymore. So my plan is to just buy a new carb but my issue is that I'm not exactly an expert. I guess what I am looking for is something that is meant for a "somewhat" built up engine and has a decent amount of fuel flow. Anyone have any recommendations? Also will the new carb fit on an aftermarket edelbrock intake mainfold? Or will I need a new intake manifold?

I have a Holly 600 for sale. Has very low miles on it, looks really nice. I also have the Q-Jet adapter if needed (ALthough your aftermarket intake shouldnt). I can upload you some pictures if you want..save you some money 😀

Joltcola, I would be interested but I plan on staying with an edelbrock carb, plus I kinda want to go with a brand new one.

no problem..pics of it will be up tonight on forums and elsewhere if you know of anyone intersted please have them contact me..Its a shame to let a good carb go to waste
