Yea the high output alternator is a must... As a budget move someone told me to go to scrap yard and use an alternator from a diesel truck because I guess diesel truck alternators are bigger ? 🤷🏾‍♂

If you can find one from a C2500 diesel it will work, I am using the same one too. Search for AC Delco #3342346.
