Thanks, I got it painted 1 1/2 years ago at MACCO believe it or not.
The color I told them to paint it was called Mazda Phantom blue, but it turns out they Painted it Mazda Slogan Blue :? .
I have a Video and some more pictures I will post soon.
I had to go with a Pontiac Motor, this is my second GP my first was a 74 that was souped up but it rusted out (I Live in Minnesota).

Welcome!! I wish i had still had my 79 GP...

Yep the 1978-1980 GP's are getting scarce a few low riders left and some hidden away in garages but most have been junked used in demolishion or trashed.
They say its not a popular car (like the GN'S and Monte's) but I always have people giving me Thumbs up.

Im from California, but I live in Minnesota
This car was bought from GM assemble plant in Canada.
I think the lady was from Minnesota, the dealer told me it was a old lady that traded it in at the Ford dealership here in Minnesota back in 1988.
