New guy and new to San Antonio

Whats up everyone? My name is Aaron and I just moved San Antonio, TX last week. I am a long time Gbody lover! I used an 1987 Regal that I pulled the motor and put it in a beautiful 1984 Regal Limited. My sister ended blowing the engine in it while I was in basic training. So with my sign-on bonus from the Air Force I had a brand new GM 3.8L with edelbrock carb and intake and edelbrock cam put in to it, it was sweet. Well being young and retarted I bought a thirdgen Firebird (for the speed) and ended up selling my '84 Regal, I hate myself for selling it!!!

Anyway, right now I am driving some hoopty '95 Taurus with a 3.0L and blown out rear struts! The car runs and drives great and all (I just drove it down here to San Antonio from Michigan) I really want a Gbody again and miss the ride luxury of them. So I really would like to get rid of this Taurus and get back behind the wheel of a Cutlass or Regal. I'm not a huge fan of the Grand Prix. I love Monte Carlo's but everyone has one and people over price them big time!

So I am hoping that this site will help me get back into a Gbody!

Welcome. You should be able to find a nice Solid Car down in Texas. I was just down there for vacation and saw a lot of nice older cars that were original and in great shape.

I haven't seen one Gbody for sale down here yet! I seen a Grand National driving down the highway the other day but thats it.

Dont feel too bad about selling your 1984 Regal. It is in good hands and you would not recognize it if you saw it right now.

I used to not like the Grand Prix's very much either, until i started checking out pics of them on here. I think you might change your mind if you see some of the ones on here!! 😀
