Thought I might enjoy this site and just wanted to say hello to everyone out there...I came across my Monte about 5 months ago while searching E-bay for a G.M body for a drag motor I was building, when I came across this car just a few hours before ending and just twenty minutes from my house.I bought it from the original owner who had special ordered it from the local dealer and I received the original build sheet,owners manual,dealers invoice and receipt for purchase and all other paper work he received with it when he purchased it new, the car has 114,000 on it but less than 15,000 on a new 350 target master and rebuilt turbo 350 which was done in 1999, someday I hope to restore the interior which is free from tears and stains however has faded in spots, otherwise I intend to keep it as original as possible, I am a single father of two teenage boys and am 46 years old and live in Topeka Kansas, Home of Heartland Park Raceway...Am also currently building a 69 nova.
