I'm a 19 year college student at mass maritime I bought my first car as my own birthday present in march, I had a pretty limited budget but I pick up this sweet ride for what I think was a steal. Hasn't given me any problems yet. I burst a return line on the water pump but that was an easy fix. I'm pretty handy. I was really just wondering if there is any good way to get some more power, I would really like to keep up with the ricers. Anyways here it is, 1986 Buick regal limited with old 307 and 2004r, 70k miles

Nice car! What options do you have on the interior?

You should keep in mind that you have a 30 year old car with a vin-y motor. The car does exactly wha it was designed for, which was to provide a comfortable economical ride. With this said, in stock form there is no real performance to be had in stock form.

Good luck.

Welcome.

I'm from the Boston area. Good luck with it!

Thanks everybody! Foxtrot, it has the split bench, new radio, amp and speakers, new headliner all in pretty good shape and already installed when I bought the car. You are right it is a very comfortable car, however economical would not be how I described it.
