New to the site not new to G-body cars. I am about to acquire an 81 Monte Carlo from a friend of mine he bought it local (MA) and it has quite a few nice parts, needs to be finished and needs carb work. Supposed to be a 383 GM crate motor with bowtie 2 heads?? has a TH350 with a 2800 stall and a posi, car has a full interior except the previous owner took the heater box out and mounted the MSD box and other things to the firewall. Looks like someone also changed the dash trim to 86+ SS 5" cowl....etc. Anybody know anything about this car? Thanks guys!!

Thanks! I have had 2 SS Monte Carlos before 1 86 SS and 1 87 Aerocoupe, which my buddy is putting back together I sold it to him a few years ago, wish I still had it. Hope to get this one to be an SS clone and have a stout driver. Looking forward to getting info and parts here.
