OK I just picked up an 84 buick regal limited, I'm sure most of you know that had a 3.8 V6 factory optioned car. The guy I bought the car from had an older 305(why a 305 I just don't know) in it. I got the car home for $350 sold the 305 that day for $50 and had my 350 in it that night.
Little background on the 350. its an 010 block 350 69-79, its has a lunati Voodoo cam with .486 lift, LT headers, holley dual plane (soon to be weiand single plane) and Holley 670 street avenger carb. That went 13.8 with a 2.0 60' on a stock converter in a 86 Trans Am. I'm upgrading the heads this morning to a set of 305 HO heads, should bump me to 10.4:1 CR.
I'm new to G-bodies so I'll be haunting the Tech area as there is no pre-existing wiring left in the car and the swap is nowhere near done. I bought it from a guy who gave up on a V8 to put a turbo on a neon..... so don't flame me for destroying the car...I'm saving it
