With the thousands and thousands of new car dealers many of them produced there own special "options". Many of them were downright hokey and if anything detract from the collectibility of the car, some were "OK", but only a very few, Yenko, Baldwin Motion and Royal Pontiac Bobcat for example add any value to the car.
So you're saying an honest-to-god in-the-flesh GPGT isn't anything special? As a GP "guy" I have to disagree. Figures are there were only more-or-less 20 of these things ever having left Myrtle. I imagine with a little detective work and a package from PHS it could be verified, which we really have to reason to doubt it!
😀 Like the M-80 Malibu (which I still have yet to see any photos of let alone a real one), Diablo El Camino, C/A Grand Am, GNX, MCSS Aerocoupe, GP 2+2, '80 Sterling GP, etc. etc. there are few left and getting fewer every day.
I for one would like to see some close up photos of the blackedout trim work, the spoiler, the badging etc. so maybe someone interested in building a cloner might have a little bit of reference!
So lets see some pics man! I'd love to see it! Real or not!
😀 Not to start a quarrel mrapii, just the GP GT is somewhat "legendary" in that its known to have existed, but nobody really knows how many there actually are, and few have actually seen one!
