Welcome! Nice trade bro, looks good!

Welcome! whats the plans for it?

thanks guys. as soon as funds are available im going to restore the body back to somewhat original except for the bumpers which are going to be fiberglass. interior needs totally redone because of age, like the seats need recovered and padded, new carpet and new floor pans becuase of leaky t-tops. havent decided what to do with the drivetrain yet. a nice 425-450hp small block would be perfect for it. maybe a 9" rearend. i'll see what happens on down the road lol. i'll snap some more pics of it when i get back around lunch time.

to be honest i dont know what all is factory for the interior but its either blue or the white. im assuming white since the only things blue is the dash, steering column and console. but i may be wrong. when i popped the trunk the sticker under the trunklid was peeling off and the car used to be light blue and under the backseat on the floor metal is light blue.

anyways heres some more pics. she's a project and no show winner lol.

instrument cluster and all the guages work and are correct on the readings. even the clock works but not correct for a console car

part under the rear seat that is blue. you can see the rust through there as well. front floor sections were patched so i'll need another whole floor pan.

and the nasty small block chevy. i have no clue if its a 350 or what. guy i got it from said it was a 350 but who knows. and behind it is a 700r4 which is nice out on the highway for cruising

i spent a good 2 hours removing their "amp wiring" that was strung all over. they old house wire for it  but im slowly getting things back to where they need to be and not rigged up. also on the console shifter, the part in the shifter that the button pushes down i guess its a detent rod for the reverse lockout? is broke so i need to find another one or a whole different shifter for it. right now they have the column rigged where you turn the collar and shift it that way lol.

lol, very nice find, The interior is probably all original, it wasn't uncommon for them to have two tone interiors. My parents had a 78 regal sport coupe when I was around 6 or so (started the Gbody kick), it had almost all white interior, but the dash board, rug, and the steering wheel/column were green. My malibu was similar too, having a darker dash and column than the rest of the interior.
