Garage is supposed to be resided tomorrow so that will really change things when it all matches!
Siding is on the garage! Moved the flooring out of the garage and into the house to acclimate for Monday morning install to begin. Spent the morning picking out carpeting and some ceiling fans for the bedrooms.
You might notice there is a small window in the mudroom now. We realized that if someone pulled in the driveway and up to the garage, we wouldn't be able to even see their car unless we went outside. So we added that window so we can look out the door from the house, thru that window and see the front of the garage. It's kind of an odd space, but it was needed.

Looking great! Good peep hole solution. We have almost the same front doors.
Big enough for a gun barrel, small enough not to take any damage!!

No, she's nervous as hell, hoping everything she picked out goes together well. LOL
NO! We purposely wanted it left there. Provides shade most of the day during the summer.

I had a pretty large Maple about 30' off the back of my house. Every time there was a hurricane I was a nervous wreck thinking it was coming down onto my roof and deck. Ive had 4 split so far since I bought the place in 87. Last Spring I had it cut down. The only ones left are down the hill or on the north side of my property and those belong to my neighbor.

We've lived there for 14 years already. Wind knocks dead branches down but that's it.
