Welcome to the forum. Nice cars. I'm a big olds fan myself. That had to be awesome setting up displays for olds! Will you likely part the one car out after you use the parts you'll need?

You know Evan I'm Stuck in a rock and hard place I really dont want to part it out. originally this was the car i have my heart set on. I will have to see as time gos on what mint parts i can find with out tearing out the 84 so it's kinda my fall back car. My plans are for the 83 is a 500hp rocket Tremac 6 spd with a Schwartz frame and goodies

I hear you on that. I wouldn't want to part it either. The Chevy motor would be out though. Would you mind to post some pics of the top of the roof & the interior sometime of the cars & concepts car? I've never had the chance to see one. Any pics of Darth Vader & you?

Man that really sucks because I had a gazilloin with other cars photos and displays of me and darth that I tossed out being upset at the time that we were closing shop. At that time it was nothing more than Bill Porterfields pet project like his 78 mid engine hatchback 442 that I really didnt care about. I only thought Darth was cool because it had 200 hp with I dont remember a 4 or 5 speed and a four point seat belt harness. I think the first trip it made to the general public after being beat on by everybody who had there fingers on it was at the chicago autoshow in 85. I do have have some pics that were saved like WJ's H/O and some misc stuff but I think if I get a hold of the guys I worked with I can come up with some pretty impressive pics. As of the 84 h/o here are some pics of the top

I can understand that, I would've been upset if I were in that situation too. Yeah, I wasn't a huge fan of the mid engine hatchback salon either, I think it popped up on eBay a year or so ago, I remember someone posting a link to it on here. Wow, that hurst is georgious. The concepts t-top set up is defiantly different than the others. The seals didn't appear to be too bad from what I could see in the pics. Might wanna hang onto it, the cars & concepts t-top set up kinda makes it unique & it looks great overall.

This is the salon 442 hatchback you're speaking of, right ?
