An idea for you, there is a new Copper Nickle Seamless Tube brake line out (DOT) that is extremely easy to work with. Just replaced my lines from the proportioning valve back. Just used the old line as a template using electrical tape, taped and bent the line to match the original (by hand) . They came out great. Local auto stores carry it or order a spool from jegs - summit. A nice double flare kit is all you need.

When you say a nice double flare kit is all I need, does that include a kit I can rent at an auto parts store or something better? I guess I can always buy the tube, cut it long, then ask a local shop to do it when I'm ready. My immediate concern is that I need to weld the hose brackets on the rear tubes before I send it to powder coat. I can come up with those locations with the caliper lines but wanted to have everything in place before so there is no guess work when I'm doing final assembly.

Thanks for the info all.

O'reilly's tool rental will work - Harbor Freight has kits starting @ $20.00 . You will need a tubing cutter which some more expensive include.

Update: I called Flynbye again and actually got a person. Presume it was lady of house. Very nice, asked what I was looking for and told me she or Ed(not sure if that's his name or not, can't remember) would call me back. He called back a couple hours later to let me know he would have everything I needed in a week or so. Works for my timeline so we will see.

Thanks for the advise. Gave me lots to think about. May end up needing to make my own when I assemble this beast back on the frame and run the lines to the front.

I just realized the brakes I bought off ebay do not have the PAB bolts for one side. I'm going to use these as a core for a set of powder coated calipers. Do you think the missing PAB bolts will be an issue? Do new bolts normally come with the new calipers and brackets?

The correct PAB bolts should be available through the Dorman product line. I bought them new when I did the Blazer brake swap on the front of my car. Just look them up for the original application. Check Rock Auto.

Like others have said the Cunifer tubing is easy to work with and bends by hand and flares as easy as standard copper tubing.
I replaced every brake line on my Regal along with a new master cylinder and proportioning valve and all the fittings needed I bought from my local Autozone.
To me a good flaring tool is a worthwhile investment and is nice to have on hand when you need it.
I used the original lines as my template for the new ones.

Update on my situation. I had a 7.5" 10 bolt that was in my El Camino. 3:73 gov-loc posi. Last week I came across an 8.5" supposedly out of an 84 GN. It's open with 3:42. I think it may have been in a t-type since GN's all had posi right? Anyway, I bought it for my build. I had just finished modifying the 7.5" with LS1 brakes and was getting ready to strip it down to be powder coated when I found the 8.5". So, I've ordered another set of LS1 brakes from eBay for the 8.5" and will sell the 7.5" on CL. What does everyone think is a fair asking price for the 7.5" with the disc brakes? I have $245 in the rear with the brakes. I listed it for $500 to see if there are any takers. I think it's a fair price. The only caveat is the gov-loc carrier. I believe I read somewhere they come from truck's and aren't ideal for car setups.

Now I'm in search of a good deal for a posi carrier and a set of 3:73's for the 8.5". In no hurry so if I don't find one I may end up buying new. The guy also gave me the brake lines for the rear which I can use a template to make a new set of hard lines. I'll just buy new braided hoses.
