awesome start..............personally don't like the cowl hoods, but ya got my attention. looks great

keep the pics coming........curious how bad *ss thats goona look

peace

I did almost the same thing with mine. What I don't like is how thin the hood's sheet metal is. It makes it really hard to weld without warping the metal. At the same time, whatever little bit of body filler I have along the bottom seams of the cowl began to crack, even though its been a year, because at high speeds those hoods love to wobble and fluctuate.

ya im affraid of the bondo cracking but a guy at my work did the same thing but he put fiberglass down first then bondo and hasnt cracked yet after 2 years so im gunna try it and hope for the best

Damn. Looks good. If only I could fabricate....

I'd like to see someone make one for a Cutlass that the cowl extends back to the windshield. Of course it would have to be a lift off hood at that point, but I always have liked the look of extended cowls.

its not that hard to do im not realy sure what im doing im 18 and this is my first one im trying but if this one turns out good ill be willing to make some more if you guys are interested. im working on extending the back edge twords the windsheild some more its hard though time consuming with that oiece there cant get it too hard or else it will warp will update pics when i get it on
