getting new tires soon and have 3 tires im considering. bf goodrich radial ta, cooper cobra radial gt, and mickey thompson sportsman st. which do you think is the best performing tire? perform like grip and wear. note i live in a hot and dry area though the weather is very suprising sometimes, it snowed on easter 2 years ago. i was originally just gonna go with the bf goodrich's and im still sure they'd be best to go with but i thought it'd be a good idea to get some opinions first.

I know you didn't list it but a lot of guys including myself prefer the firestone firehawk indy 500 to the bfg radial ta

whatever you decide on make sure it's a summer tire and not an all season. I have the BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires which work real nice but they are not available any longer.

I like the Cooper Cobras. They look good, they drive good, they're a good price, and they're made in America by an American company.

I actually heard from a tire specialist that bfgoodrich tires wear quicker than coopers, firehawks, and mastercrafts and they cost more than all of them. All you're paying for is a popular name, but I'm sure as far as performance goes, you probably won't tell a difference between these choices because they're all close.

I really liked the Firehawks. They looked handled and held up well. A much better tire than the BFG TA and a little cheaper. I believe its also still an American owned company. They also got the best reviews on Tirerack. The only thing is if you still have 14" rims BFG is the only one that makes the 245/60/14 that I would run in the rear for the best look and height for a sport model Gbody.

15s 15s 17s 18s all give you way more and different stuff to choose from. Cooper's are also good. Mastercrafts always seem so generic cheap looking to me. What rim are you running? I looked in your pics but saw no actual pics of the car. Just a belly button and Edelbrock carb and a cool adjustable vacuum advance thingy. A key little part for pulling the power out of a real street car imo. 8)

I can definitely tell you there is a difference, first off the firehawks, cooper cobras and mastercrafts are all season tires. There is no all season tire than can be considered a performance summer tire. The BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires I have are performance summer tires and rated for 184 mph. The handling is far superior than with any of the tires you mentioned and as far as wear they may wear quicker than the tires you mentioned but if you want a tire that works there is a price to pay.

Are they available in white letters?
