Hello! My name is Barbara and I am new to the forum.
I just bought a 1984 Monte Carlo.
Going to drag race her starting in a few weeks.
Looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you.
Below is a pic of my car. Her name is "Franki"

Nice clean Monte, this will definitely be a nice cruiser / drag car, after seeing this picture I stand my statement pertaining to your dash situation.

Thank you! After your post I realized that I would like the inside to be as nice as I can get it to match the outside. No sense in "junking" it up with parts that don't come close to fitting.

That a clean ride for sure,Not sure if id drag it though

Cause that's just me,maybe a couple of times wouldn't hurt though,You got any other pics of the car,an engine?

Why wouldn't you drag it?
I raced my Cutlass for 2 seasons and ran in the high 11's None of the body panels line up as good as the used to. I think I twisted the frame just enough to cause the misalignment of the fenders, doors, and trunk lid. I don't think a car that ran in the 13's or slower would have the same problems.
