It's just hard on cars,That's all am saying,You run all kinds of risk in drag racing. An guys i don't want to hear the BS about it either,i don't really care.
A friend of mine drags a sweet Cutlass. He does a great job and runs about what you did. I am hoping for no twisting problems but know it is a possibility.shanghaismith said:I raced my Cutlass for 2 seasons and ran in the high 11's None of the body panels line up as good as the used to. I think I twisted the frame just enough to cause the misalignment of the fenders, doors, and trunk lid. I don't think a car that ran in the 13's or slower would have the same problems.H317 said:Why wouldn't you drag it?skulledmonte84 said:That a clean ride for sure,Not sure if id drag it though
Yeah I know it's hard on cars and I understand, and accept, the risks of drag racing at the dragstrip (would never consider it on the streets). I am making sure I take every safety measure I can to keep myself as safe as possible. Spectating is no longer an option for me because this is something I have wanted to do for years and I am now in a position to do so. Your concern is much appreciated though for both me and my car.skulledmonte84 said:It's just hard on cars,That's all am saying,You run all kinds of risk in drag racing.
