Just getting back onto the G-Body "horse" from a 9 year break, this summer.

I'm building an '87 Cutlass Salon T-Top with 90K I found in a barn 2 months ago. I've gutted the interior because it had 12 years worth of mouse occupations...smelt awful. The interior has been reconditioned, and the carpet and seats have been power washed(they turned out looking and smelling great!). The 305 and TH200C were pulled, and I've dropped in a 403 with 455 heads, Edelbrock RPM intake, Crane roller rockers, adjustable push rods, toro oilpan, Holley 750cfm 4160, Hooker headers, and backed up by a TH350 with a Hurst kit and 2400 stall.

I'm currently working on the floor patches, and supporting cross member notch I cut out.

Here's some pics...

I totally agree....I did an 81 Malibu project with my son...quite a few years ago now....he drove the car up until last year when he decided to sell.
