New toy 1981 Indy 500 pace car

The kit came with the race pro ones but I’m not sure how it will sound with them. Guess ill find out in a couple weeks if I like them or want to switch to something quieter

On my car they sound good, but I wonder what they will sound like with out a turbo? Did you decide to do any upgrades to the engine or just a stock rebuild? Hope it turns out fun to drive even though it will not have a turbo.

I’m not sure what they’ll sound like I’m hoping they sound good if I don’t like them I can always change them easily, it’s mostly stock i didn’t plan on making a lot of power out of the na 231 but did want it to be a dependable cruiser. I may in the future once my 30x40 shop is built and I have more space may consider doing a 86-87 intercooled swap to it.

They did this style of pypes is a nice upgrade for a regal the only thing I had to do on my car since it didn’t originally come with dual exhaust is I had to drill two small holes in the frame for the hangers by the rear wheel wells. Also had to get a 4 bolt flange since originally this car had a 2 bolt no big deal as the test pipe I have is a 4 bolt style
