New user from Houston

I paid 6.5K for the car which is a little under "average" blue book value. I would have paid that for this car even if it had no motor. I had an extremely clean T-type(pictured below) a few years ago, but this one is even nicer.

Well, now I don't know what to do. If I had the real estate I would just throw a cover over it and shove it in the corner of the barn. My little two-car garage ain't gonna allow that. Using it as a daily driver makes not sense at all.

The other option is a carefully convert it to a mild street rod and archive the OEM parts that are not used. If I went that route, I would try to use an Olds engine and keep the factory look. I think if no permanent mods were made it would be easy to restore back to original. The whole problem with the car is it is WAY under powered.

I drove it home dreaming of big blocks and frame notches.
 
if you want one to mod I will swap you straight up for my wagon and a hardy handshake :rofl: welcome to another houston guy and man that thing is clean did you pick it up local?
