Wanted to say hi to all fellow wagon owners. Having been a wagon lover most of my 75 years, I have owned quite a few of all makes, I just bought my 8th G-body wagon. Forgive me if I call all 78-83's G-bodies, I have owned every year 78-83, just like it that way. Latest is a 1983 Cutlass Cruiser, 103k original, untouched, 100% rust free everywhere. I am second owner. Knowing every place these cars rust, like frame rails, rear brake backing plates and the floors, I can say this car has none of the typical mid-west cancer. One owner car from Wisconsin that was never driven in snow, used for vacations only. Has a tow hitch that wore out the rear end, replaced the whole unit with a low mileage Regal gear. CB radio was in it and it has a back-up beeper installed. Little aside thought, for years I was in sales and drove wagons. The G-bodies I wore out were many, 30k miles a year was normal. I never paid more than $1200.00 for any and they were low mile drivers with little rust. My best wagon that I have owned for 42 years is my 1955 Nomad, that's another story. Love the G.M. G-bodies. Way cool. Thanks John.
