Well after an exhausting amount of research I ordered what I hope is the last order for things having to do with wheels! Lets keep our fingers crossed..

I ordered longer and stronger studs...10 of them

Ordered 1" hub-centric adapter/spacer

Ordered hub centric rings to take up the slack between the 70.3mm factory hub and the 83 mm bore of the wheels.

That should take care of that.... I HOPE! LOL

all you needed was a 1/2" spacer. I am running a 275/60/15 on a chevy 15x8 rallye wheel on my wagon. has 4" backspace and centers the tire in the wheel well. you will need to roll the inner lip though.

I pondered that too and I may still order some of those too just to be sure to get it all took care of.

We shall see...

Ordered some 1/2" ones as well today just to have all the bases covered.

Well I ordered the spacers and studs and all that and I am still working on that project. It is taking a little longer than I was expecting but I have also been finishing up some stuff on the inside as well...

I did have to open up the "cut" in the shifter cover to fit the gauge faces and panel.

Had to double check the fitment one more time before I made it permanent!

I did get tired of working in the dark with flashlights today so I used my underhood light on the inside! Genius I say!

Here is the Tach installed and hooked up and working 100%.

I got to come up with some more Genius ways of hiding all this mechanical gauge goodness somewhere! LOL Work in progress...

I did find this sweet Oil pressure line on ebay. Has a 90 degree fitting on the engine side!

It also came with this nice A/N style fitting for the engine pressure port.

Here are a few pics of the gauges in their final position and mounts up and hooked up. I still have to do the wiring but that is the easy part!

I also got this used passanger side mirror. The mirror itself it very stiff and I cant move it without fear or breaking it. Is there a way to take these apart and get it moving again?

Lookin' good, Chris.
Slow progress is better than no progress. I hope the wheel spacers work out for you.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I have been messing with the wheel spacers and whatnot as well. Kinda aggrivated with myself because I spent good money on some nice hub centric rings that of course I cant use with these wheels since the center cap fits through the backside of the wheel. So cant use those like I thought I would.

But... I did finally get the 1/2" spacers and set them on the car with the 8" wheels and it looks pretty perfect just sitting on there. Of course I still have to replace all the wheel studs to make it work and roll the fender lips. Its getting there though... LOL

I have been wanting to get the wagon done so I can enjoy it but I have not had any extra time lately. I wanted you guys to see what it looks like with the 1/2" spacers on and see what you think. They are still close on the inside and outside but it might work. These pics are with the spacers on and the wheel sitting on it flush. No lugs nut installed because I still need to install the longer studs. I am liking the look. I am just afraid it is gonna rub still on the frame... It is CLOSE! LOL

The wheels look good. Is it sitting on the ground? Oh, you still need the longer wheel studs. Hope you got the clearance issue resolved.

Hey Chris did you ever figure out your stuck passenger side mirror? My passenger mirror on the g/p seems to be stuck in place and I too fear breaking it. Your wheel fitment on the rear is really starting to look about right. Lets hope you have the clearance you need. Nice work on the interior too.
