Nice suprise

I went down to Charlotte to see my daughter and pull a bunch of maintenance on her Tahoe. What I wasn't expecting is what she hooked me up with. A friend of hers worked for the Nascar teams and took me on a visit to Petty racing and Roush-Yates engines. This guy knew everyone and got me in places people never see. Also went to the North Carolina Racing Hall of Fame and Nascar hall of fame. To top that off with her connections got me VIP passes to the NHRA race at Z-MAX Dragway. Quite a week.

Sounds like a great experience. Roush is a supplier of mine so I often get invited to Jack Roush's suite at MIS on race day. It is located directly above pit row. Food and drinks are great when they are free! Last time I sat with Jack Roush himself and chatted. He is a nice guy and has a very nice collection of cars in his museum.
