Welcome, your 16 years makes my 13 years seem so much more reasonable, thank-you!
I see both your 13 and 16, and I raise you 22 years, also on a 1983 regal.

Lets try 30 years with only about 10 of them of random DD usage on my '81 Monte. Just don't ask how many nickles & dimes have been involved.
Edit: this weekend was offically when I hit the 30.

At least yours DD during that time :ROFLMAO:

Mines still on its original new title from '83. However, after being a summer DD until about '89, it sat up until '94. Then it was DD again until '98 when it was wrecked in front, and it's been a project that hasn't been on the road since. Oh, it moved location when I moved, but not under its own power.

Just a slow project off and on for 22 years straight, but 37 years since it came off the dealer lot.

Once the money is spent, then its gone - from both my bank account and my memory - onto the next purchase.
That was my point, exactly. This isn't a hobby to worry about money. You either spend it (whether you have it or not), or don't. The responsible people don't use plastic. I should be like that, one day.

It's alright to worry about money iMO, just don't let the wife worry about money lol, implying what she doesn't know she doesn't know :):) . My better half seen the withdrawal to get the trans repaired - ended with a 'don't ask, how about a White Claw?'

I judge those type of jobs by the count - putting the cage in was a 45 beer job. But the rear was only a 6 pack.
p.s. - I see a bottle in your picture - bottles bad ;)
