Non A/C Heater Box in Regal

I'm sure others have installed non-A/C heater boxes in thier 81-87 Regals. Have any of you had issues with the glove box insert hitting the non-a/c heater box?

I installed one in my 84 and I had to remove the glove box insert to allow the glovebox door to close.

All g-body non a/c cars have a specific glove box liner that is slightly smaller for clearance.
You can either cut your existing liner down to size, or buy a correct one. I've done both.
Properly removing and reinstalling the lock cylinder/latch mechanism is kinda tricky.
