Front control arms don't look S10 or Astro related.

Rear swaybar looks like s10 4wd stuff.

Combining the two frames probably screwed up the torsion bar mounts so they fabricated LCAs to work with coil overs. The Trans is a 700R4/4L60,

In Maine, I guess you basically you just buy a rusty 15 year old $1,500 AWD beater like a infiniti M35X or Jaguar X-type and you just send it.

First widespread use of collonade A bodies outside enduro or dirt track I've seen.

I guess ice racing is just enduro on ice so it's not much of a stretch...
