Yeah.. then someone must have welded shut some holes. Or was the trim glued on? "Cutlass Cruiser"-logo is missing as well.

Anyone know about original hood emblem for a gasoline powered 79 cutlass?

i would assume the trim might have been attached like the el caminos where the had a stud sticking out then the molding was held on with some plastic clips. so they probably just removed the trim and grounded down the studs.
