Nos hardtop roof skin for 81/88 monte Carlo

I played around with the idea of making one a convertible years ago. I took a plastic model car and actually built it to see what it would look like without the top. It looked pretty darned good actually.
There was a member on here that did a GN clone convertible, here is his build thread.

I'm located in Massachusetts . I have spoke to the guy with all the nos sheet metal that was left over rcr stock from Earhart's car. I was going to make a trip to grab some stuff but I'm a bit skeptical since some of the sheet metal is surface rusted pretty good . He wants insane money to ship a roof skin so I'm at a deadend as of now . Any help is appreciated !
