Wonder how many of us (who are well removed from high school) still have those cars.

Just pictures, memories .....And a set of used but uncut brake drums.

Is that a Coupe deVille behind it?
Are you talking to me? If so no. That is a nother 80 Monte I bought over ten years ago for 50 bucks. It had a pretty good frame then. Frame is soft now. Parts car. And yes I have three of them. I had four for a while. My wife doesn't get it, junk to her.

Guess that makes more sense. I had a '75 Coupe deVille and for some reason that's what I saw in the background.

I graduated high school in 1984 and still have my first car, my 68 Cougar that I got from my Grandfather in 1978.

Regarding this thread, I've had both a 77 Monte Carlo and a 77 Grand Prix. Both were bulletproof beaters that went above and beyond anyone else's normal call of duty. I sold the MC with 165,000 miles on it and scrapped the GP with 290,000 miles.

The rear sway bar that came on the Monte, also spent 10 years underneath my 84 Delta 88, then 14 years under my 77 GP. It now lives under my 78 Olds 88.

I loves GM's parts interchangeability.
