Notching The Rear Frame For Air Ride

no camera 🙁 but ive been pretty much copying your regal build haha like your tub ideas with the trailer fenders and stuff

i have a 83 monte that im throwing air ride in. I plan on laying frame on 22'' s. My idea for the trunk in a suicide trunk hinge on it, same as the hood. that way the hinges are out of the way and it looks kinda cool. Im justing tring to figure out what to do with links on the back end so my axle and drive shaft dont bind when at weird angles.

If you need to raise the trunk floor, why not use park. ave hinges and make the trunk reverse-opening? just a suggestion, a guy with the name "bourbon" did this on his regal, theres a build thread around somewhere.

Or you could just use shocks on the trunk lid like an 81 Regal. Same idea as your hood shocks only smaller.

on your stock hinges there is about three to four inches of bracket that can be trimmed off the bottom and rewelded to your wheel tub once you raise them. its easy and if you just raise your stock tubs it can look pretty much factory.
