Cause I have a gun to cling to. I went and bought a Mossberg 500 tactical. It was pretty much an impulse buy, but being that the shop was slammed and I was told this was their last model and couldn't get anymore, so I went and bought it. It's a good insurance policy at least. Haven't shot it yet but it has a nice feel to it.. hopefully this weekend. It was nice having the freedom to walk out 20 mins later with a 12 gauge shotgun. It reminded me how great this country still is and that I've been taking a very important right for granted.

Sweet! I want to go out and buy a gun myself, but sadly I don't think I am allowed to have a fully automatic AK-47 by law. Plus, I can't afford it which sucks, because soon it will be too late. I won't be allowed to buy any gun at all I fear in the near future.

I may not have any guns, but I do have plenty of Bibles...lol

insurance policy? Ha it's the shot that makes the difference, not the gun. Nice buy though

Without a gun I couldn't even make a shot. So yes, insurance in case of an emergency. Strange concept, I know.

I don't think they'll outlaw shotguns anytime soon, its the handguns they'll go after first, which makes me want to get one along with a conceal and carry license. But Obama doesn't get all the credit, I have some real shady neighbors next door that I don't trust anymore than the pitbull down the street.

I agree on the handgun thing, although i am not old enough to technically purchase one i am going to have my father get me one more just before it gets more difficult.

Pitbulls are much less scary than people. All the Pits I have known have been cuddly lap dogs and weren't any more vicious than a Golden Retriever. If treated wrong and raised to fight, they do it better than almost any other breed. Happily, most are not raised that way.

i get stuck buying my firearms from shady back alley type deals...(true story)

I wouldn't admit that online...you never know when "THEY" are watching...

I hate to ever hurt any dog. More times than not its the owner that need to be shot rather than the dog. But there are cases in which dogs mistake small kids as game and their instincts kick in. So if one day I walk outside and its running around my yard foaming at the mouth, I'm not going out empty handed.

About the gun, I figured out that the breacher on the end of the barrel does have an intended use instead of just a meat tenderizer. They call it a door buster and its used to bust through a door or fire though the door and vents allow the gasses to escape instead of back into gun and self destructing it.
