I'm a so glad that the exhaust leak and oil leak I had were easily fixed just by swapping the motor and all its components.

The only thing that concerns me now is that at low speeds, 1-25mph, the car sort of lunges back and forth. I was once told it was that my rotors had worn un evenly, so the pads were catching and releasing on the uneven surface. But that only happened when I was coming to a stop. Now, it happens when I'm not stepping on the brakes. Someone also told me it was my transmission. Has anyone else dealt with this problem??

If the engine rpms are constant, than it has to be in the trans or brake system... have you tried putting it in neutral at a constant speed and see if it goes away? if you have a brake hanging up, that would show up while coasting. Bad wheel bearings can sometimes act this way too.... Just my 2 sense...

Neutral! why didn't I think of that? Thanks, I'm gonna try that as soon as I get home.

I really hope it isn't the transmission. I just rebuilt it so it would be ready for the new engine.

sounds crazy too...but a bad u joint can bind and cause a sensation like this as well....Ask me how I know!

Oh great. I shoulda replaced the u-joint while I had the driveshaft out. I knew it. Just so it wouldn't be an issue. I did give both u-joints a once over to make sure I didn't feel any binding though.
