damn it!! that's what i've been trying to say. thank you for stating it properly. to me the pro's outweigh the cons (no pun intended 🙂 ) on this one.
I still lean towards no registration,& no screwing with our 2nd Amendment, whatsoever!

oh i understand, and i accept your opinion. i just don't fully agree with you, but if we all agreed it'd be f%^kin' boring wouldn't it?

Other countries like aus you have to license the gun with the cops. Most states let the loop hole for gun shows/trade so anyone can buy a gun and its legal. If we did like the uk you can only have a gun that is locked up at a gun club but they have more stabbings then shootings wonder why.Gun laws only keep guns from honest people if you wanted a gun bad enough and got the money you can get one anywhere legal or not.I'm a gun owner all of mine are legal and in my name there all locked up in my gun safe but for 2.I carry a snub nose 38 on my ankle i don't want to shoot anyone but if it comes down to it i will. The economy is fine most that don't have a job are too lazy to work somewhere like mc d's or anything fast food or even wal mart. The health care problem is most pay for health insurance that don't cover anything and your better off with a health insurance savings account. The war in the middle east is easy kill them all leave nothing alive its the only way to fix something thats been going on this long. immigration is easy shoot anyone trying to cross in illegaly they will stop fast.Finger print the ones we catch and hold them in prison for 10 years then deport them. They cost us tax players money why not make them work some of it off in prison.i have no problem with any one thats here legal and speaks english.Broken english is just as bad as no english at all.And btw im a proud nra member.

Wow, someone to the right of my positions! I have problems with every single health care proposition on the table right now, including the "savings account" idea favored by many Conservatives. I understand the need to introduce market forces, but if you can't save enough to buy health care now, how are you going to save enough for the future, or a catastrophic health problem? Yes, insurance now covers almost nothing. This is why I rejected my company's health insurance. For $85 a month, I got 5 doctor visits and a few hundred bucks worth of prescriptions along with a max of $5,000 in hospitalization used over 2 hospital stays for an entire year. Essentially nothing for the money paid as my doctor charges $75 a visit and I can get discount prescriptions at a local pharmacy or oodles of free samples from my physician. Now, I have chronic health issues stemming from a car accident among other things, so this would do little for me except help when I got a cold. Savings account? For most of my adult life I have been lucky enough to be able to pay for the basics and keep a car or two running. As for lazy, I work full time, go to school 3/4 time, and am building a car and doing home repairs. I just happen to have a crappy dead-end job delivering pizza with VERY variable income depending on how busy we happen to be on a given day, and how good or bad the tips are. I am not lazy, have no kids, don't use drugs and don't even drink or smoke.
