Odd Odometer Issue - 1984 Cutlass Calais

Thought I'd give an update. I have been driving to work the last 4 days and low and behold the mystery odometer numbers have been slowly revealing themselves! 😀

The only problem is, I want it to stop so I can properly open up the dash and remove this weekend (before it slips inside / out of sight and potentially causes a problem or something.

If that was a paper tag that fell off it shouldn't cause any harm floating around in there. Where the working gears sit it won't get in them. But it never hurts to clean the inside of the cluster every so often.
