This is my first G-Body and my plans ate to build a Tpi motor to run 12's, with street manners and get 20 plus mpg highway. No nitrous/power adders, just all motor. I've already made some progress with this build. Here's what the car started out as and this is how it looks now with the Irocs and 1 1/4 well adapters.

Sharp car. I like your plans and direction. Keep it updated,

Thanks and will do. Anyone have suggestions for little parts of the Camaro that'll compliment the Cutlass? I'm already going to do the gas cap/license plate mod.

keep the roc together and RUN THAT-----!!! or give it a bath, and flip it for "LS" money  say it with me now...6.0 lq9

The funny thing is I was actually debating on fixing it and flipping it because either the torque converter is bad or the trans went out because it starts fine but dies when it gets taken outta park. Also, wont move in any direction.

That's what I read in Wiki but a member here said the 5.7 was an option in 85. Where on the motor can I see if it's a 5.0 or 5.7?

On the back off the block on bellhousing on driver side should be a casting number. Check out that because when I was looking for a motor I had a guy tell me he had a 5.7L 350 TPI for sale, but when I ran the numbers it turned out to be a 5.0L 305 H/O motor. Here's a link with pics:
