I have already looked on there. They only show the 2 prong which is for the light only. You need a 3rd wire for the choke coil output

1981 Chevey electric choke uses circuits 78-Electric Choke Feed Lt, Blue sharing the same sender blade as 31-Oil Pressure, Engine, Tan (warning light) or 931-Oil Pressure, Engine, Dk. Green/White (gauges), with 250-Feed, Ignition Switch on Controlled, Fused, Brown on the other blade.
Here are some pics of my original (converted to gauges) with a spliced pig tail & the replacement '78-'79 200 V6 harness that I have (I'll be redoing the main power wires to work with the 350 I have for the car.) I'll even include a PDF of the wire diagram that covers the Chevy engines from my '81 manual.

As usual everyone's knowledge and insight on the subject is awesome. After getting home from work I decided to have another look at the oil pan to determine how I would try to get it off as the Chilton repair manual wants one to take things off surrounding the pan and lifting the engine. What I found actually just became my worst fear, a blown head gasket. I was sleeping on this issue last night, remembering how wet and oily the spark plugs were, and how the car died when you took your foot off the pedal, similar to the behavior an 85' Toyota Celica (My first Car) I once owned but with a bad radiator we would later find out, it over heated and could not be further repaired even with the warped head made even. Anyway the oil had been dripping down making the oil pan look like the culprit. This stinks, but either way it's going to a mechanic. Anyone here recommend a good Gasket set replacement? High performance or other?
