I've got a stock 305 in my 83 monte ss and its got a pretty good leak from the drain plug.Does anybody carry an oversize drain plug?

are the treads stripped? or is it just leaking bad? if its stripped see if its the plug itself or the pan. if its the plug, just replace it, if its the pan you can get it heli coiled, but that involves lifting the motor to remove the pan, and if yer going that far ya might as well replace it. or you can got the super ghetto route and use some high temp silicone and goop the sh*t out of it and put it back in the pan and let it dry over night before ya fill it back up, but thats just a bandaid that will eventually fail again.

Its not the threads cause it screws in tight. Its like it leaks from the sides of the washer like its not flush up against the pan but I don't see a gap but its leaving puddles in my driveway.

I think Dorman (Help Section) sells a plastic drain plug washer. It will contour to and imperfections. Ive used them on "Made in China" chrome oil pans that arent straight.
