Oil priming an Olds motor

Does anyone know what tool to use to prime the oil pump before startup? Seems to me that I remember the oil pump rod being a hex design that a socket would fit on

I have a 5/16 'priming' tool specifically for SBO but I'm not sure that it's still commercially available.. You could always weld a 5/16 socket to a rod that would fit in the chuck of your dril.

I made one out of an old points distributor I had laying around. Use what you have....
