oil,temp,volt gauge kits

Hello i'm looking to install a gauge set in my Monte. The car at the moment has idiot lights for oil temp and volts. Was wondering what you guys recommend for gauges? I wanna keep the price under a hundred bucks. Also ismechanical gauges better or electric?

If you buy a quality electric gauge they are just as accurate as a mechanical.

Personally, I only run electric because I don't like running the mechanical gauge lines into the car. If a little oil line leaks or breaks its not a lot of fun for clean up.

But, your going to be hard pressed to buy quality gauges for less than $100.

thats why though, because they are good. you can get gauges at harbor freight for like $10 or something stupid like that lol but even at that price i wouldn't buy them.

How about some sunpro gauges . The kit costs about 35 at my parts store. Just don't know if its mechanical or electrical.

Summit Racing has Autogage (made by Autometer) trio gauge sets with oil pressure,water temp and volts from $44 to $76 depending on style and gauge size and full or short sweep, they appear to mostly mechanical but they are also offering free shipping and handling right now on these.
