Old new guy, Space Coast, '85 El Camino

Hope I'm not adding my 2 cents too late about FI in the Elky. The '85-'88 Monte/'85-'87 Elky had 4.3 FI (LB4) for the base engine. Other G bodies that used the 4.3 in final years would also br FI. They all will have the in tank pumps. For better pressure, would a pump from a turbo Buick be usable on the LT1 swap?

Pardon me while I wipe the egg off my face. Who said we only start learning after we know it all? After Longroof and pagrunt gently set me straight on the FI I did a little more googling and easily found several sources that confirmed their correct observation that throttle body injection was introduced on the 4.3 V6 in '85, so there's nothing funny about my new Elco after all. D'oh. Thanks, guys.
