Hey guys:

My '78 LeMans has the older non-tilt column. I've been considering swapping in a newer column to get tilt and the newer style multi-function lever.

My car has cruise(with the common broken lever) and the wiper switch on the dash.

Has anyone done this swap or know of tips?

Thanks....

You probablly don't have and older column, just a non tilting column. Simply find a tilt column with cruise (shift on the column or floor shift) and change it out. If you want "set", "cruise" "resume" etc. like the newer models, I'm not sure how difficult it would be.

Plenty of columns on ebay and these forums.
