I've got an 87 with a 200-4r with a 307 and plan on swapping to a sbc. I know I need mounts out of a monte but I was wondering if there was anything else I needed.

you need the mounts that goes on the 350...
you need mounts for 350 to go on the frame... the mounts will go all the way to the front and one hole will hang off the edge at the top..
you probably need a new transmission mount...
get your drive shaft shortened....
thats all you need to get the motor down in the hole and bolted in

No need for either of these 2. The 200-4r will bolt to the sbc.

engine mounts, and possibly a tv cable bracket depending on what carb you go to, or if you use the stock one. And of course other little things you may need from the auto parts store.

When I went from 307 Olds to 350 Chevy, I swapped the motor mounts, lengthened the wires to the starter and alternator, modified my existing dual exhaust set-up, and everything else was pretty simple (fuel lines, heater hoses, etc...).

I got a computer controlled distributor and ran my original CCC Quadrajet. No dicking around with trying to find brackets necessary... just used all the stock stuff.
