the 350 dx blocks make good 440 strokers.

It is a DX,and I have a 425 crank.Didn't realize all the extra machining required for the conversion though.

Granted, if it exploded, you'd have to do it all over again, but it'd be a neat novelty to say the least.

Well see,working on 2 cars now and parts to finish these are adding up.Maybe I will do a DX for my hurst instead of the 403,not sure at this point though,the 403 has alot of nice parts.

Are you saying its compatible with a hydroboost brake booster?

Yes diesel cars all had hydroboost.

I'll have to check into it then.A guy in my town inherited a pole barn full of GN parts and I'm going to buy some things this weekend and he has 2 Carquest Hydro boost units new in box.I've seen they are recommended on GN websites.
