Years ago I bought an 18" long 1/4 drive extension and a 5/16" deep well socket and had the TIG welded together.

so you can access it through the drain plug hole?? brain fart
 
I did this too.... ran the vs drill in reverse (counterclockwise) with a pressure gauge to watch..spun it till i had about 30-40psi and had a freind turn the engine 90degrees every minute or so till the crank had been rotated completely a couple of times. Then started her up!

No, through the distributor hole. But if for some reason the stock sticks to the oil pump and your extension comes loose then the next place for that socket is down in the pan.

I haven't had it happen to me but I know a few friends that have. :lol:
