yeah, I tried to contact Rocket Racing and just got a machine. Gonna probably have to leave a message. I like their heads and intake but dont have the money, but I'm gonna see if maybe they have some older high compression factory iron heads.

I got some paint a water pump and a gasket set. I'm just gonna put it back together and run it. A friend is getting the bolts out fof the heads for me and I am gonna put a new oil pump in and a cam/lifter set. What Lunati cam would work good on an otherwise stock engine? I might take a main cap off to check the bearings condition, but i REALLY DON'T WANNA JUST LET THE MOTOR SIT APART FOREVER.
Get a quality timing set too, like Cloyes. Degeeing the cam is a very good idea. Put the smallest Voodoo in, NO bigger. A vin9 307 or stock smog 455 cam would also be an improvement. Remember you have 8.2 to 1 compression, with factory shim gaskets.
