All I know for sure is the pan bolt hole locations that are circled seem to be the same locations in both pics. As far as I can tell the th350 doesn't have a bolt hole in that same location. I'd say to end this debate just post a pic of the bottom of the pan.

... is that every TH350 ever made has a bolt on tailhousing. Apparently those bolts were Photoshopped out of your photos.

I thoroughly cleaned & painted, added a new fluid filter, and put on a chrome dip stick.

I'm really not trying to be an *ss but if you changed the filter and pan gasket, you would have known it was a 200.

Listen... I went to an, un-named, local automotive store and brought the gasket with me. Dealt with a Dude who "sounded" knowledable, bought the filter set, and came home. Didnt ask about the transmission model.

Asked the same guy a few days later and he said it was an Oldsmobile TH350 due to the bolt pattern where it connects to motor and the shape of trans pan.

I said ok.
Had another Dumbass (Friend) tell me it was a THM350
So I Put it up on Craigslist
Mentioned it here and there in conversation
Put it on GBody

And these Mutha F****ers are wrong!!!

The moral of the story:
Dont Listen to "that guy" behind the counter &
Friends will always be there...To **** things up. 😀
