I just finished putting a 455 in my cutlass. I was wondering who all has done it and what kind of problems they have run into since installation.

None. I put a fuel injected 455 in my 1978 Oldsmobile. I love it

Sweet! How about some pics?

That's good to know. I had bad header problems with mine couldn't find any to fit. What type of header you running? Do you have aluminum heads?

Here are some pictures edelbrock heads and hooker headers. I had no trouble installing the headers . The headers are the type that wrap around the frame. check out my garage page for more pictures

That's a extremely nice set up. I am wanting to go with some aluminum heads but I don't like the edelbrocks price tag. Have you heard anything about the procomp heads?

No problems. I went with the Hooker headers also, I put them in before the motor and dropped it in on top of them, so I don't know how hard it is to put them in afterwards. You'll need to modify the crossmember, the collector dumps right into the crossmember otherwise. Here are some pics.
